k.g. is another one of my students from my last semester at UT. in class, she was very astute in understanding the materials set forth. for her final project, she did an art book on plastic surgery and asian americans. she had also done some work on the dragon lady trope in image history. i decided to create an image of a dragon lady for her. i have since received feedback that rather than appearing as a conniving dragon lady, this image seems to be more of a "strong" image. i guess it's sometimes a fine line.
